Eugene Agger was born on December 4, 1879 in Cincinatti Ohio. He married May C. Hessler on June 4, 1908. They had two children, Donald (1912-1963) and Carolyn Eugenia (1913- ). Agger received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Cincinnati in 1901 and 1902 respectively. He received his Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University in 1907. He served successively as a lecturer in economics, assistant professor and associate professor at Columbia University from 1907-1926....
